Looking for support during this holiday season?

The holiday season can be a time of joy, community and connection, but many people experience holiday blues during this time of the year, which might include:

  • A sense of loneliness, sadness and isolation, whether it is in a crowded room or at home alone, loneliness is painful.

  • Stress and pressure, as people often feel pressured to plan events and meet the expectations of others.

  • Grief over the loss of a loved one, as the season often serves as a reminder of their absence.

Sometimes it feels good to talk to people with shared lived experiences or someone you don’t even know. To get together to learn what you can do to navigate the holiday season, to share similarities of our experiences, to provide each other with understanding and empathy and to be there for each other during the hard times - and this group is not deprived of fun and a healthy sense of humor!

If you feel like you need the extra support, come and join the support group this season, without traveling - it's online from the comfort of your home.
