You know the minute you walk in the door, you will be holding your breath, awaiting a cue that will tell you how bad the evening will be. You are constantly walking on eggshells and trying to anticipate when the next big eruption will be. You are trying to delay the yelling and screaming that awaits you - or worse, the silent treatment. Your bitter sarcastic teenager will be hiding in their room on their phone, your strong-willed child will put your patience to the test the second you walk in, and your significant other will be distracted and distant, ignoring your repeated concerns for the state of the family. At dinner you try to change the mood, but everyone's day was just "fine" and no one seems to care.

Family time shouldn't be dreadful - I help you make it more enjoyable!

Families come in various shapes, sizes and configurations,

each with their unique needs.

Family relationships are complicated, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to address unresolved conflicts, breakdowns in communication, behavioral issues and difficulty self-regulating, challenges in blended families, sibling rivalry, difficulty connecting with your child, chronic illness or disability within the family, cultural conflicts with multicultural families, major life transitions (divorce, loss, new sibling, move) and other situations.

  • BETTER COMMUNICATION, so that each family member can express their thoughts and feelings more openly and respectfully.

  • CONFLICT RESOLUTION SKILLS, so that family members find healthier ways to address disagreements.

  • STRENGTHENING RELATIONSHIPS, so that trust, love, and mutual understanding can be built.

  • BOUNDARY SETTING, so that a sense of togetherness and support can be maintained while respecting individual autonomy.

  • IDENTIFYING AND CHANGING DYSFUNCTIONAL PATTERNS, so that unhelpful behavioral patterns such as enabling and power struggles can be changed.

  • PROBLEM-SOLVING, so that family members are equipped with useful tools to handle disagreements and challenges more collaboratively and effectively.

I offer you a non-judgmental, neutral space where open dialogue and healing can take place. I help you explore the dynamics within your family unit to strengthen your family foundation and the bonds that make your family unique. I guide you towards more harmonious relationships by helping you achieve the following goals:

A Family doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to stick together and be united.
